Manager - Business Development - IT Staffing (3-6 yrs)

Overview :

- The Business Development Manager (BDM) for IT Staffing plays a crucial role in identifying, developing, and managing relationships with clients to drive revenue growth in the IT staffing sector. This position requires a deep understanding of the IT industry, including emerging technologies, trends, and staffing requirements. The BDM will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and closing deals to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities :

Client Acquisition and Development :

- Identify potential clients in the IT industry through market research, networking, and referrals.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.

- Understand client requirements, pain points, and staffing needs to tailor solutions and services accordingly.

Sales and Revenue Generation :

- Create and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.

- Proactively prospect and qualify leads to expand the client base.

- Present staffing solutions and services to clients, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantages.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable deals while ensuring client satisfaction.

Market Analysis and Industry Insight :

- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape within the IT staffing sector.

- Analyze market data and client feedback to identify opportunities for business expansion and service enhancement.

- Provide insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders based on market intelligence and client feedback.

Collaboration and Relationship Management :

- Work closely with internal teams, including recruiters and account managers, to ensure seamless delivery of staffing solutions to clients.

- Foster collaboration and communication across departments to optimize client satisfaction and retention.

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and support to address their staffing challenges effectively.

Reporting and Performance Management :

- Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts using CRM software.

- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate sales performance, trends, and insights to management.

- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.

- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the IT staffing industry.

- Strong understanding of IT technologies, roles, and job functions.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Willingness to travel as needed.
