Manager - Business Development - IT (6-12 yrs)
Job Responsibilities :
- Identify potential clients and generate new leads through various channels, including online platforms, networking, etc.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, industry trends, and competitive analysis.
- Proactively identify and connect with potential clients, key industry players, and decision-makers, while effectively conveying the value proposition of Chapter247.
- Identify prospects by considering factors such as technology stack, industry/domain , comprehension of project concepts, and effectively communicate relevant details, including portfolio and domain knowledge.
- Establish realistic and attainable revenue targets for yourself, communicate them to senior leadership along with your planned approach towards achievement.
- Maintain and update the CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
- Own commercial negotiations and demonstrate ability to overcome client objections to close new contracts.
- Create project proposals and manage RFPs for bidding processes.
- Coordinate with the team in both the pre-sales and post-sales processes to ensure client satisfaction.
- Set team targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually.
- Implement strategies and actions to achieve KPIs, regularly track performance and maintain records that show progress in monthly reviews.
- Contribute to deliverables such as increasing brand awareness and maintaining client relations.
Skills Requirement & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Business Consultant/ Sales Manager/ Business Development Manager or similar role in the IT services & software development industry.
- Thorough understanding of IT sales and negotiation techniques.
- Should have understanding of software development lifecycle and technology services & solutions.
- Proficient in understanding and producing various documents used in the sales process, such as proposals, contracts, and project plans.
- Familiarity with legal and contractual terms to ensure accuracy and compliance in documents.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and proactively adjust strategies to ensure target achievement.
- Experience in setting team objectives, performance metrics, and regular monitoring of processes.
- Experience in managing a team of 5+ members Proven experience in team management and leadership, with a track record of helping your team achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Aptitude in crafting compelling proposals and presentations.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to foster a cohesive and productive team environment.
- Excellent communication (Written & Verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with CRM softwares and other sales tools.
