Business development manager-Merchandising (Institutional Sales), {Only females can apply for this position}


- We are looking for Business development manager for one of our UK based client in south Delhi. The core business is engaging with clients for executing any business related to Corporate Gifting, Promotional Merchandising & Reward Management.

- The ideal candidate should be a very presentable person with exceptional communication skills and know-how of the merchandising and gifting service in different industries.

Role and Responsibility :

- Maintain and increase revenues by means of new client acquisition, existing client expansion and retention

- Develop and implement annual sales strategy and plan in line with organizational strategy and objectives

- Ensure opportunity for client up-selling engagements

- Ensure thorough prospect identification, perform preliminary research, and market penetration for target accounts

- Develop creative and cost-effective plans to meet client objectives

- Prepare periodic sales reporting in the system

- Coordinate contract negotiations, re-negotiations and sign off

- Provide account management support to drive incremental revenue

- Oversee the development of proposals, presentations, contracts, and other marketing-related collateral materials, make sales presentations, and follow through to closure of sale

- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners

Job Qualifications :

- Post Graduate degree in business or equivalent

- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in sales and marketing experience in the corporate industry


Project management :

- Corporate sales background a must with more than 3-4 years of experience in Institutional sales

- Strong Key account management experience

- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentations

- Excellent organization, facilitation, conflict-resolution, and people management skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Managing company and client expectations

- Creating sales pitches

- Arranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective client
