Position: Business Development Manager


Role Objective:

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development professional to help us expand our clientele, who will be the front face of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

A: Principal Duties & Key Tasks - for Company:

1.1. Conduct research to identify new markets and client needs

1.2. Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and client satisfaction

1.3. Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients.

1.4. Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients- objectives. Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays

1.5. Developing quotes and proposals followed by sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules & guidelines

1.6. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support

1.7. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

1.8. Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills

B: Principal Duties & Key Tasks - for Client/s:

1.1. Responsible for increasing market share through higher footfalls and awareness of Client as - Centre of

Excellence- for targeted specialties, services and programs. Develop monthly activity calendars in alignment with the strategy/positioning /feedbacks from stakeholders to promote the centres.

1.2. To identify and focus on the communication to the target audience (for above point) through multiple mediums

- ATL, BTL and Digital. Coordinate and support the development of communication tools and collaterals to promotethe centres and their USPs as per the activity calendars for prospects and existing customer base. Help the content team get proper inputs from all stakeholders.

1.3. Identify and target corporates, doctors (internal and external), doctor groups and patients with appropriate programs and activities to build relationships and support the Sales Team efforts.

1.4. Responsible for planning and execution of Marketing & Activity Calendars for designated specialties - across all mediums.

1.5. Work closely with Agencies - Creative, Digital, Media Buying, Website/SEO, PR - to ensure consistent communication and activities as per the Planners.

1.6. Plan and execute outreach programs (along with Sales Team) with prospective patient community such as RWA presidents, local clubs, schools, colleges and local bodies to generate footfalls from them.

1.7. Plan and support Sales Team in organization of CMEs /Seminars and lectures for promotion of the services of the medical faculty and specialties available in the hospital.

1.8. Plan and support Sales Team for initiatives like camps, seminars and conferences to increase product-promotion participation, doctor's referrals, talks and other events.

1.9. To support the Sales Team with Collaterals and Initiatives for liaising between in house doctors and external doctors for patients.

1.10. To keep a regular update on the competitor's activities& come with innovative ideas for marketing/promotional campaigns/activities.

Academic Background: MBA /PGDBM/MHA with specialization in Marketing

Industry Preference: Healthcare& Pharma
