The opening at this company is for a leadership level role to help us develop our overall business channel in India and globally. This is a leadership role and you will see incipient growth along with the company.

Position : Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs

- Actively seek out new sales opportunities

- Acquisition and retention of customers and increase client base

- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services

- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data

- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences

- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections

- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results

- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal team

Skills Required :

- B2B Sales

- Channel Partner Sales

- Customs Handling

- Excellent communication skills

- Sales presentation

- Vendor Management

- 3+ years of experience in sales of forwarding industry in ocean freight

Experience required : 3 - 8 years

Salary : 10-12 Lpa (based on present salary and XP)

Education : Any Degree (Graduate minimum)

3+ years of experience in sales of forwarding industry in ocean freight

Requirement :

- 3-8 Years of work ex in freight forwarding

- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role

- Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus

- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques

- Fast learner and passion for sales

- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations

- 3+ years of experience in sales of forwarding industry in ocean freight

Role: Individual contributor

Next reporting manager: Vertical Head

Notice period: Up to 30 days

Gender restriction: No restrictions

Office timings: Indian Shift

Location restriction: Only locals

Working days: Only Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat working

Max. age limit : 30 Years (not more than 30 age)

Work from office
