Manager - Business Development - Export (5-9 yrs)

Responsibilities:

- Identify and target potential SME exporters and importers who can benefit from companies platform and services.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive customer acquisition and achieve sales targets.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, trade associations, industry influencers, and key decision-makers.

- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

- Deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of companies platform.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure a smooth onboarding process for clients.

- Actively participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to generate leads and promote companies platform.

- Stay updated with changes in international trade regulations and market dynamics to effectively position companies offerings.

- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and progress updates to the management team.

- Continuously monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in business, international trade, marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.

- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the global trade or fintech industry.

- Strong understanding of international trade practices, supply chain dynamics, and finance concepts.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and negotiate effectively.

- Self-motivated and target-driven individual with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage market data and customer insights to drive business growth.

- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage customer interactions.
