Business Development Manager

MAIN PURPOSE :

- Build & grow sales through Interior Designers & Architects.

- Gain Project Sales.

- Regular updates to interior designers and architects about new product introductions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Exceeding sales budget for this channel.

- Making weekly and monthly sales plans, ensuring execution and delivery of results.

- Analyzing and interpreting trends and environment to capitalize on sales.

- Developing new business through agents.

- Expanding Database of Interior Designers & Architects. Data to be well collected, updated & maintained.

- Organizing and participating in trade events if required.

- Work in co-ordination with zonal teams.

- Ensuring timely fund collections from clients

REQUIREMENTS :

- Sales and Business Development background in premium decorative lighting.

- Established relationships with Architects and Interior designers.

- Willing to travel to different cities and meet Architects/IDs.

- Ability to present product information and business opportunities.

- Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Education. Bachelor / Masters - Degree / Diploma ( Sales )

- Experience: 3 - 5 yrs of experience in Sales of high end Decorative Lighting Products through Interiors Designers & Architects

- Languages: Fluent English & Hindi

- Ability to write reports

- Self starter with excellent communications & presentation skills

- Serious, proactive and has the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment

- Strong computer & analytical skills
