Manager - Business Development - Corporate & Government Sales (8-15 yrs)

- Experience in getting favourable PQs/TQs/Eligibility criteria incorporated in RFPs through persistent and intelligent discussions with prospective decision makers and Consultants, handling PoCs independently, mapping key decision makers, influencers and winning them over from scratch to get a new RFP released, with favourable PQs/TQS/Eligibility criteria.

- The job involves extensive travel across the Region, often at short notice and tremendous poise, maturity and patience to build a prospect funnel for the Company's portfolio of solutions for Smart Cities.

- The candidate needs to be a key account management expert, adept in mapping and building a quick rapport and credibility with prospective decision makers, influencers, consultants and other stakeholders, including identifying and alerting the Company Management about competition and officials sympathetic to potential competitors.

- The candidate shall be trained by the Business Head and the Government Projects team at HO and shall regularly interact with the HO team for all Government Business opportunities, while working as a team with the concerned Branch Heads (matrix reporting ) in his/her Region of posting.

- The candidate is expected to rapidly build a strong funnel for the Company's Smart City Solution suites in targeted accounts, many of which may be greenfield and require opportunity building from scratch. The candidate shall map and create a robust funnel for the Company's Solutions Suite for a large number of Smart Cities or other Government Projects and drive business from these accounts through aggressive follow-up including self-visits as well as arranging required interactions between prospective decision makers, Branch Head and Head Office team at appropriate time.

- The candidate needs to be strong in both verbal and written Executive Communication, comfortable with meeting and forming a rapport with new people with an outgoing, confident personality to make a good first impression on prospective decision makers.
