Position Title Business development Manager- Cell Biology & Synthetic Biology SA

Job Description - Qualification : Ph.D /Masters in the area of Cell Biology with field experience of 10 years in Techno commercial space handling Cell Bio & Synthetic Bio product range

- Techno commercial business leader with a strong business acumen and people management skills handling India and Indian subcontinent (South Asia region)

- Strong analytical & reasoning abilities of a project leader and a true team player

- Work closely with research & Biotech related institutes, with sales team members and external customers, lead and drive the sales process for Cell Bio and Synthetic Bio product portfolio of South Asia

- Team of three Product specialist will be direct reporting to the person selected, require to closely work with them and be a part of their overall development

- Job requires extensive travelling and meeting key customers across SA

- Need to actively engage customers by organizing symposiums/roadshows/lab meetings/round table meeting and trade shows

- Creating and implementing innovative methods to acquire new customers and retain in good potential customer pool.

- Portfolio management will comprehend and utilize product features, benefits and applications accompanied with selling and business building skills to successfully promote the sale of Cell Bio and Synthetic products, emphasis would be on NPI / addition of SKu's / Workflow selling - product line, to achieve or exceed the assigned territory sales plan.

- Assist sales and marketing team to conduct required type and amount of activities to nurture lead pipeline

- Create a lead pipeline, funnel management and achieve required wins.

- Drive business development at assigned major customer call points to penetrate and grow current and new business.

- Extensive interaction at all levels of the internal and external organization.

- Achieve sales revenue and sales growth objectives
