Manager - Business Development - B2B Vertical (2-7 yrs)
What we're looking for
Looking for a young real estate/software / product sales executive with expertise in business development, relationship management, communication, and networking skills.
The ideal individual should be proficient in negotiation skills with a knack for closing, and possess the willingness and ability to build and nurture relationships with industry professionals in an effort to sell the product and vision of the company. A hard-working, passionate, entrepreneurial individual who will be working directly with the founding team members to grow revenues and excel in a fast-growing, uniquely positioned PropTech start-up.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to marketing strategy for lead generation
- Cold Calling and generating awareness and interest for the company and the products
- Lead qualification & nurturing
- Pitching our product to real estate developers
- Aggressive follow-up and capturing mind-share
- Quoting, negotiating and closing deals
What you will need
- Have prior experience in sales
- Have an affinity toward and understanding real estate & technology
- Proficient communicator with the know how to maintain tight communication loops
- Good public speaking skills with a knack of being a conversationalist to drive relationships and sales.
- You have the ability to quickly learn and create a strong sense of the company vision and product.
- You have a strong sense of ownership - the buck stops with you! This is a small company with high expectations of responsibility and actions.
- You are result-oriented as you will be required to make measurable, steady progress towards your objective of proving that this is the right bet for the company to be taking in a world of infinite opportunity and limited resources
- You have the ability to establish internal credibility with peer managers both inside and outside your immediate team and external credibility with clients onboarded to the platform.
- You respond well to complex situations, working across the organisation and with customers and teams to solve problems
- You move quickly and have the confidence to act decisively when needed You aim to build for the long term - every decision should reflect long term thinking.
