Position : Vice President - BD

Qualifications :

1. B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) in any specialization is mandatory (Preferably from top B.Tech colleges)

2. MBA from Top Management Institute/ Foreign University is desirable

3. 15+ years of relevant professional experience

Requirements :

1. Sales Track Record and Numbers Focus- A revenue producer with demonstrated ability to meet or beat numbers for complex, long sales cycle engagements in capital-intensive industries like steel, non - ferrous industries, power, oil & gas, etc.

2. Sector Experience - Prior knowledge or a strong interest in understanding the iron & steel industry, both ferrous and non-ferrous. Related/ similar industries also considered.

3. Sales and Business Development Process Experience - Have experience with modern sales technologies like CRM (Salesforce) systems for tracking and qualifying leads- RFQs, Tenders, managing the sales funnel, and revenue projections.

4. Strong Leadership - Must have built and led a numbers-focused sales team to convert new or inbound opportunities into revenue.

Mandatory - The candidate should have relevant work experience in Steel Sector. This means candidates who have worked in Steel Plant or has experience in handling clients from Steel Sector.

Description :

1. Lead the sales and business development for our organization, the leading engineering consultancy in iron & steel and other infrastructure sectors, with offices in India, Dusseldorf, Tokyo, Abu Dhabi and NJ, USA.

2. Organize and sell offerings in Engineering consulting services for large projects as well as service offerings in the Operations, Energy, and Advisory spaces.

3. Have overall responsibility for several hundred crores of revenue over time, leading the team through long sales cycles with large MNCs and Indian organizations.

4. Develop deep executive relationships at every major Steel Plant in India and abroad, financial institutions, investors, and Governments.

5. Oversee a bifurcated strategy and organization for small short cycle deals and large, long cycle ones in an efficient manner.

6. Be the Numbers Leader for the organization - oversee tracking and reporting sales metrics and keeping the management team on the revenue plan.
