Job description : Manager - Business Development & Sales

- We are looking for a person to be a part of our Business Development and Sales Function responsible for shaping, leading and driving sales to the next level. This role requires working closely with the Sales Head, who is responsible for architecting a business development and sales strategy and building an efficient sales team across the enterprise and mid-market sales. A completely client-facing role, this position requires strong client development and relationship skills.

- The person should be excited by selling into new markets, strategizing next steps, negotiating complex deals and beating the competition in head-to-head opportunities.

- Locnapps focus would be Business Development with focus on Indian market and India as a market for the International businesses.

In Three Months :

- Understood the complete Locnapps business, new service areas, anticipated market entry and penetration strategies

- Got a hold of the possible client segmentation, targeting and positioning plan

- Built an effective sales strategy

In Six Months :

- Initiated conversion and closure of sales leads

- Identified a broader client lead/ base including international clients

- Identified channels to reach out to prospective clients

How would your Day look like at Locnapps

- Work closely with the sales head to build the sales and marketing plan

- Spend time in developing an effective sales team; also work towards team development and progression of team members

- Client development researching to constantly broaden the sales funnel, communicate with prospective clients, make offers and work towards final closure

- Client retention act as a senior-level contact for existing clients and be in touch with them for business retention as well as new business generation

- Thought leadership take the initiative to establish expertise in the business areas of Locnapps

- Brand building work towards creating the brand strategy and execution for image and reputation

- External communication strategy client outreach options using different communication channels, conversations on available communication platforms, including social media

- Develop creative ideas and disruptive communication innovations for the client, aligned with their business, customer, and brand goals.

Responsibilities Of The Role :

- On all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals

- Assists in the development of the sales plan

- Planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning

- Build processes for client reach out, client onboarding, activation, and expansion

- Help close all deals

- Work collaboratively across teams, including all areas of marketing solutions - digital marketing, PR and communication strategy, campaigns, social media marketing, translation and gaming solutions.

- Establish client lead requirements needed to meet the sales objectives

- Provide complete visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development

- Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally

- Market intelligence : keeping track of market best practices, competitor analysis, pricing strategies

- Business intelligence monitor and administer sales analytics and performance dashboards and generate MIS tools for making business decisions

- Analyse, track and optimise effective benchmarks for measuring sales performance, conversion rate and other important metrics and proactively make strategic recommendations to meet sales goals

- Communicate with internal stakeholders on sales development, timelines, and results. Work closely with the other team members to meet goals.

What You Will Need ?

- Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the area of services sales, including all aspects of marketing solutions - digital marketing, PR and communications strategy, social media marketing, website and SEO, go-to-market strategy, content marketing, service/ product launch

- International client servicing & sales would be preferred

- Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use complex data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations and drive actions

- Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams

- Strength in problem-solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

- Strong leadership and team-building skills

Qualification and Experience :

- Any qualification in sales and marketing is preferred, though not mandatory.

- Minimum 5+ Years of experience in sales of services

- Experience with International Client Relations & Servicing -preferred-

- Prior experience with any Digital Advertising Media - Production House ; or SAAS IT services or Video Games Publishing/OTT -preferred-
