Responsibilities of the role

- Pitch-perfect product copy for various e-commerce marketplaces and brands' websites.

- Researching markets and websites to compare and create content that is innovative and original.

- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to write SEO based content.

- Ensure to deliver non-plagiarized content.

- Optimize existing content according to SEO

- Write quality SEO based content for category pages, product descriptions, articles, guides nearly overall website content.

- Use of SEO tools and strategies to top the online visibility of the website in search results.

- Supports the e-commerce Copy Style Guide project, drafting, modifying, and updating Style Guides/Standards; Performs quality assurance on product pages and makes edits to adhere to Copy Standards

- Modifies existing web product copy to support change requests from merchant and customer service teams

- Edit, proofread and improve other writers' content

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi task.

- Ability to adapt to necessity.

- Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.

- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients.

Requirements :

- Candidates with journalism and English literature backgrounds are preferred.

- 6 months to 1 year work experience in the field of Content Writing and Marketing are preferred.

- Freshers with SEO and Digital Marketing knowledge can also apply.

- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Required. Should have good command of the language.

- Ability to learn quickly.

- An understanding of SEO Optimized content writing.

- Working under pressure to deliver high-quality output in a short span of time.

- Good knowledge of Excel.

- Take the initiative to multitask.

- An understanding of SEO Optimized content writing.

- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization

- Experience in managing content via CSV & Excel Sheets will be an added advantage

- Keen analytical thinker and problem-solver.
