Role Summary:

Looking for a salesperson who can build out General Trade (GT) presence from scratch and own the company's growth in the region.

Responsibilities:

- Build out GT presence of the company in every particular region.

- Identify new distributors and retailers in the territory.

Develop relationship and on board for increasing market penetration and reach -

Own primary and secondary channel sales to deliver annual volume objectives

- Grow effective distribution through the network of C&F agents, distributors and retailers and collect payments

- Build relationship with salon managers and central office.

Conduct beats to ensure stock management at all salons and collect payments

- Keep abreast with market trends and competitor activities. Quickly analyse market response and communicate promotional requirements to marketing team

Ensure ground level implementation of promotional activities. Drive visibility and sales activation

- Lead new product launches in the territory in co-ordination with marketing team

Desired Qualifications:

- MBA or any PG degree - 2-4 years of experience in FMCG sales - Proven track record of exceeding in the set sales targets

- Strong understanding of market trends and potential of the territory

- Deep target orientation

- Problem solver and street smart

- Strong interpersonal skills. Able to develop and manage relationships with all channel stakeholders

- Good communication skills in both listening and speaking

- Flexible and enthusiastic.

Able to work independently

KPIs:

- Increase in sales by value and volume in the territory

- Increase in number of listings and placements - distributors, retailers appointed and salons added

- Deployment of point of sales materials

- Increase in net credit period

- Effective collections
