About the Role :

We are searching for a Sub/Copy Editor.

The charter for this role will include :

- Restructure and edit long-form content received from all contributors and in-house content writers, as per brand and SEO guidelines.

- Conduct in-depth content audits and hygiene checks. Suggest ways to improve traffic and engagement.

- Write well-researched content for high-impact properties such as blogs, scripts, case studies, newsletters, eBooks, marketing collaterals, PR articles and authority pieces.

- Ensure smooth delivery of content within TAT, as per brand guidelines.

Tool proficiency :

- MS Word and Excel

- Basic editorial tools like Grammarly

- CMS tools: WordPress

Ideal Persona :

- 1-3 years of content editing experience in fast-paced growth startups/ media companies /creative content agencies

- Understanding of SEO (keyword research, SERP rankings optimization, Link Building)

- Adept at primary and secondary research

- Should be a graduate/post-graduate in Journalism/ Mass Communication or English literature

- Everyone at Leap is entrepreneurial, moves fast and operates with extreme ownership.

- There is minimal management and extreme autonomy.
