Lead Generation Specialist - Logistics/Shipping Firm (1-5 yrs)

- The Sales Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads to support the Regional Sales Heads. This candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery, and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential!

- Conduct lead generation, prospecting, and qualifying potential new clients

- Proactively schedule calls with perspective clients via phone and email (including cold calling)

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that all lead sources are properly identified, tracked, and optimized to maximize revenue.

- Develop new business via the established channels and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce SNS and identify appropriate customers within the target market.

- Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.

- Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel.

- Work with the Regional Sales Managers to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals.

- Manage data for new and prospective clients in CRM, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate, as well as reporting and follow-up activities

- Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards.

- Writing press releases, online content, and company articles for our online channels

- Inside/telephone sales experience

- Strong communications skills

- Outgoing and friendly; able to quickly build professional rapport with individuals through various communications channels such as telephone and email

- Sales-oriented and goal-oriented, self-starting, and able to work without constant supervision

- Proven ability to get results and meet commitments

- Ability to work individually and in a team

- Strong analytical abilities

- Excellent client service skills.

- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint).

- Experience with any CRM Software will be preferred.
