Layout Artist - Graphic Designing - Retail (3-5 yrs)
Basic Function:
Execution of art type and design layout for weekly pre-print and newspaper ads, digital display ads and omni-channel offer assets as needed.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Executes art to support the JCPenney brand and marketing initiatives
- Works closely with art team partners to execute solutions that connect with our customer
- Establish a superior understanding of the JCPenney layout and art standards.
- Maintains accuracy and consistency of style by implementing art formats/standards.
- Interacts with art team, copy team & project management team
- Executes all revisions from Creative Manager and Project Manager
Key Relationships:
- Collaborate with the art, copy & project management teams executing the work
Reports To:
Creative Manager
Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive Adobe Suites expertise with an emphasis on Indesign & Photoshop
- Excellent communicator
- Self starter, organized
- Attention to detail
- Experience executing high volume marketing programs
Key Challenges:
Achieving high quality execution in a fast paced environment, with many changes in strategic and product feature/pricing direction. Steady communication with manager and fellow co-workers
