Role : Sales Engineer

Role Definition :

- Sales Engineer is one who coverts leads into revenue by visiting/discussing with customer to understand their needs, by resolving their objections, by sending proposals, by negotiating and finalizing the order and collecting payment.

Responsibility Deliverable :

1. To visit/call customers to understand their needs, do objection handling, making proposals, negotiate and follow up till the order gets finalized.

2. To process the order by preparing contract review, scope of supply & dispatch requisition

3. Co-ordinating with operations and customer for timely and smooth dispatch of material

4. To maintain all enquiries, quotations and orders collected data. Prepares and presents accurate market information to management

Tasks & Activities :

1. Calling/visiting customers to understand their need and to establish their need

2. Resolving customer objection to buy the product

3. Making proposals

4. Negotiating with customer

5. Following up with customer till the order gets finalized

6. Doing contract review after collecting purchase order

7. Preparing scope of supply after collecting purchase order

8. Creating dispatch requisition document

9. Co-ordinating with operations for smooth dispatch of material to customer.

10. Intimate docket no. to customer and keep track of the consignment till it gets delivered.

11. Follow up with customer for payments

12. Participate in operational, tactical & strategic meeting

13. To give market feedback to Management

14. To give sales projection to decide on stock

15. To collect payment

16. To prepare and submit expense report to HR by 5th of every month

17. Send daily report + whatsapp message for break throughs and break downs

18. Submitting sales matrix every week

Measurement Metrics :

1. To visit 16 customers + 50 tele calls per week

2. To make 100 proposals per month

3. To generate 30 Laks per month orders

1. Qualification :


- BE- mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical or Bsc graduate
