Kristal.AI - Business Development Associate - Distributors/Advisors Channel (1-4 yrs)

Kristal.ai is an AI-driven asset management mid stage startup in the FinTech industry. The firm specializes in building automated portfolio management solutions for financial advisory purposes. Currently, the firm has branches and investors across Singapore, Hong Kong and India.

The firm is currently looking for a candidate to join us on full time basis.

- The candidate would be responsible for onboarding channel partners such as Mutual fund distributors, investment advisors and other providers of financial services to distribute our services.

- The candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and enhanced multitasking abilities.

- B2B sales, marketing and strategic analysis are important aspects of the position, along with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.

- The ideal candidate has experience researching market trends, targeting relationships and using proven methods to develop distribution channels.

- The candidate would have existing relationships with wealth intermediaries like IFA's / RIA's/ Wealth managers etc

- The base salary would be supplemented by an attractive bonus structure / ESOPs

Key responsibilities will include :

- Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement

- Understand the target markets, including distributors, advisors and other wealth intermediaries and which market strategies can be used to attract clients

- Development and execution of distribution strategies for business development including on-boarding of IFA / RIAs / Wealth-managers onto the Kristal platform

- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, advisors, portfolio managers and financial intermediaries who are part of Kristal's Network

- Manage performance and incentives for the channel partners. These numbers will determines ESOPS / Bonus structure at the end of the year

- The candidate should also have the capability to understand financial concepts and have familiarity with portfolio management tools

- The candidate must be self-driven, and motivated in an entrepreneurial atmosphere. Given that the firm is currently in a growth phase, the candidate is also expected to take the initiative, and can work independently. Basic knowledge of financial markets is required.
