Role: Regional Sales Head & Business Development

Experience: 5 Years to 7 Years

Job location: Bangalore & Pune

Purpose Responsible for directing all sales and Business Development activities within the Bangalore region and ensuring the company's sales grow year on year; playing a key role in the region's bottom line

Reporting to Head of India Geo BD

Key Responsibilities :

- Devising and implementing the region's sales strategy.

- Participating in setting revenue targets for the region and setting key performance indicators for his/her team accordingly.

- Working on creating new opportunities in existing account and driving new business in new accounts.

- Meeting with the sales leaders monthly to assess company performance against KPI's.

- Presenting sales results on a weekly and monthly basis.

- Implementing sales strategies and monitoring effectiveness.

- Keeping a close eye on the sales activities of competitors and utilizing ideas where appropriate.

- Overseeing performance management of sales staff.

- Working closely with the various department heads to secure large accounts.

- Implementing a variety of new business initiatives to drive sales.

- Negotiating agreements for contracts with customers and ensuring commerciality.

- Implementing an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking process for the region.

- Implementing best practice in sales techniques throughout the department.

- Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Marketing and Customer Relationship activities within the purview of the region.

- Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas

Key Performance Indicators :

- Sales and profitability figures

- actual Vs Targets New customers garnered Account Management

- Account mining and account farming Profitability of won projects Win loss analysis
