Manager, Graphic Design

The Manager, Graphic Design is responsible for collaborating with marketing leaders to establish and execute on the creative and visual strategy for KPIT including visual, audio, digital, print and all other aspects of the creative that goes into building brand.

Experience and Qualities Desired:

- Experience across all media including user interface design for web and mobile, PowerPoint presentations, video production and editing, print production

- Combines imagination with respect for corporate brand standards

- Knowledge and experience in designing for large scale events and trade shows

- Comprehensive knowledge of graphic design, color, typography, page layout and print production

- Ability to hire and manage third party vendors and ensure work product blends with KPIT style

- Highly collaborative leadership style that balances quality with productivity, motivates and inspires employees

- Will understand marketing processes and technology and contribute towards effective work processes that bring the team to ever-higher levels of competence

- Functions collaboratively, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

- Oversee the team's work and check whether they are able to obtain the right data or information from client/requester in order to sketch out the project concept.

- Ensure that the delivered products or services adhere to the policies and standards of the company

- Assist the team members to choose the right style, attractive graphics, images, and other visual elements to adapt them according to the objectives of the project considering brand standards.

- Outstanding communication skills and superior English language skills

- Extremely convincing with good presentation skills

- Strong project management and organizational skills

- Superior comprehensive visual design skills and creativity

- Maintains confidentiality in work related information and materials and conducts him/herself in a professional manner

- Ability to work independently as well as within a team; flexibility to manage multiple projects and staff

- Demonstrated high level of proficiency with Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), Corel Draw and ability to teach and mentor others

- Manages stress well, is able to work on tight deadlines and can be flexible to serve global customer base

- Ability to articulate rationale behind creative solutions and to take feedback from internal customers and incorporate feedback within brand standards

- Exceptional organizational and planning skills, including exacting attention to detail and follow-through

- Skill in creative problem solving and analysis.

Experience Required

- 8+ years in design

- 5+ years as manager of a creative team

- Work experience in corporate environment preferred

Education Required

Bachelor's degree and degree in design or related
