Job Title: Sales & Marketing Manager (Microbrewery Segment)
Experience: 3-7 Years
The role of Sales & Marketing Manager for a microbrewery involves a blend of sales, event coordination, and client relationship management. Below are the primary job responsibilities:
1. Event Sales and Planning :
- Actively seek out potential clients and businesses for events like private parties, corporate gatherings, or brewery tours.
- Respond to inquiries about event bookings, providing customized solutions based on client requirements.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts for events.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts.
2. Client Relationship Management :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for event clients, ensuring clear communication from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
- Conduct site tours for potential clients to showcase the microbrewery's venue and offerings.
- Handle special requests, dietary needs, and customized event solutions to enhance client satisfaction.
3. Event Coordination :
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as brewery staff, kitchen staff, and event coordinators, to ensure flawless execution of events.
- Oversee event setup, including seating, dcor, audio-visual equipment, and any other arrangements.
- Monitor events to ensure adherence to schedules and customer satisfaction.
4. Marketing and Promotion :
- Assist in creating a community, focused on fostering meaningful interactions between the brand and its audience and encourages relationships among members themselves majorly by focusing on engagement, trust, and shared experiences, creating a loyal and active customer base.
- Work with the brewery team to identify key trends and design promotional packages to attract event bookings.
5. Administrative Tasks :
- Maintain an organized database of client interactions, event details, and sales records using CRM or other software tools.
- Monitor budgets and ensure events stay within financial constraints.
- Analyze sales performance and generate reports for senior management.
6. Compliance and Safety :
- Ensure events comply with local licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and alcohol service guidelines.
- Address issues related to permits or venue limitations when necessary.
7. Revenue Maximization :
- Upsell brewery products, such as craft beer, branded merchandise, or additional event services.
- Negotiate and close deals to maximize profitability without compromising service quality.
8. Team Collaboration :
- Work closely with brewery staff to align events with the brand identity, ensuring that the brewery's offerings are integrated seamlessly into the event experience.
- Support the Events Manager in training junior staff or onboarding new team members.
