Key Area Manager - FMCG (5-10 yrs)

Responsibilities:

- Handling and maintaining relationships with key accounts, establishment and execution of Joint Business Plans, Portfolio Assortment, Consumer Promotions, Activations and Visibility with modern trade chains for achievement of sales objectives

- Deliver volume, value & profitability targets against Annual Sales Planning for the chain by location.

- Develop, negotiate, sell and execute TOT (Terms of Trade) and ensure compliance of the same.

- Assortment management to ensure continuous availability of products in all stores.

- Ensure accurate sales forecasting of brands with each account is achieved on a monthly basis.

- Responsible for maintaining healthy stock level across all chains and channel partners.

- Monitor utilization of Modern Trade/ General Trade spends and evaluate their effectiveness.

- Create growth forecast plans for chains at a store/city level/DC level.

- Initiate & develop annual marketing plans and consumer offer calendar as per the strategy & guidelines set and agreed in Joint Business Planning.

- Run Promotion activities and Consumer offers with partner account

- Develop in-store visibility plans in coordination with sales teams.

- Negotiate key shelf space, branding location and data visibility at store levels for each chain and ensure execution with help of sales promoters.

- Closely track & monitor key parameters and metrics including market shares, share of shelf, on-shelf availability (OSA) and fill-rates

- Have periodic review on the progress of business and provide regular updates to immediate Manager and Sales Head on sales trends, market developments and competition.

- Pre & post sales tracking and analysis

- Coach and develop the sales team on their roles and responsibilities.

- Ensure training of the promoters and merchandisers on their roles and responsibilities.

Education:


- MBA in Marketing

Experience:

- 5+ years of experience out of which minimum 2 years in KAM or Category Management roles

- Strong knowledge and exposure to customer account management, commercial negotiation, category & shopper insights besides customer centricity.
