Key Account Manager - Sales - eCommerce (6-7 yrs)

Strategic Responsibilities :

- Outline the strategic roadmap to achieve the Channel vision for E Commerce business in India

- Lead the capability building & expansion of the E Commerce Team to operate the roadmap

- Liaison with the Regional E-Commerce teams to replicate relevant best practices in India

- Identify, prioritize & explore new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking.

Managerial Responsibilities :

- Work with the Regional E-Commerce lead to create Joint Business Plans across key customers and own the planning and execution to deliver revenue budgets.

- Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact for all Customers

- Lead trading terms/commercial negotiations/Joint Business Plans with Customers

- Identify key channels/customers/opportunities to leverage & drive online business in India.

- Build best-in-class presence of Brands on E-Commerce

- Build superior shopper experiences on online channels including site navigation, content development, promotional campaigns, and healthy listings across key E-Commerce platforms

- Build, execute & track business plans with current & new Customers, in line with Quarterly & Annual calendars

- Work with customers to identify inorganic traffic & conversion drivers like coupons, virtual bundles, bank cashbacks, influencer campaigns, push notifications, deals, email campaigns, social media campaigns etc.

Cross-functional Responsibilities :

- Be actively involved in the Demand Forecasting process to ensure optimum in-stock levels across customers.

- Coordination with the marketing team (both internal as well as external) for timely placement & promotion across the marketplaces & closely monitoring the performance

- Work closely with In-stock managers to plan product launches, deals. to ensure there are no stock-outs

- Recommend products to be promoted on sponsored searches basis inventory health, past ROS and GV/PPV trends.

- Work with Finance & Trade Marketing to ensure sanctity in trade promotions and A&P budget management, accounts receivables, reconciliations etc.

- Drive leading metrics like In-Stock%, Fill Rates, Lead times and DOH which impacts Business Health

- Explore, evaluate, and implement fulfilment strategies like vendor flex, direct fulfilment, cross dock, drop shipping, marketplace resellers etc. with a goal to minimize costs and drive profitability.

Core Competencies :


Professional Know-how :

- Management experience at a Senior Level, relevant University Degree or equivalent relevant business experience.

- Minimum 6-7 years in Consumer/E-commerce/Online Sales

- Multi-SKU /multi brand sales experience in local market

Work Effectiveness & Adaptability :

- Proactive in different situations, keep taking actions to make things better

- Flexible in handling change and comfortable working independently

- Good communicator (written and verbal) including active listening ability

- Results oriented, promise made, promise deliver

- Priority first

- Excellent verbal and written English;

- PC literate with good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

- Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience in interpreting results and drawing conclusions

Business Understanding :

- Experience in B2C e-commerce

- Passion in learning to shopper behavior and consumer needs, curiosity in always finding new way to gain market share.

Customer/ Consumer Focus:

- Develops effective business relationships and manages difficult people effectively to seize opportunities

- Ability to use influencing and negotiating skills to achieve results (both internally and externally.
