Key Account Head - Modern Trade - FMCG (8-15 yrs)

Job Purpose:

The Key Account Head will be responsible for managing key accounts/ channels, maintaining a long term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales opportunities with them.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1)Sales and Business Development- Capitalizing on growth through the formulation, development and implementation of new plans, initiatives, long-term Account relationships and key business strategies for market penetration and reach

- Deliver Volume, Value Business & Profitability against targets for the Account by location & in coordination with your team

- Drive business through plans, promotions, visibility, activations, new launch, correct assortment, planogram and cascade to regional operational team for execution.

- Account Management, Finalising commercial terms of trade, Execution of promotions and BTL in the accounts, Responsible for Sell-In to accounts to Sell-through to consumers and all the enabling activities like activations, training, merchandising

- Negotiation and execution of Terms of trade and business development agreement

- Achieve Top Line & Bottom Line for Key Accounts within agreed budget spends (P&L)

- Planning and organizing promotions for the account

- Responsible for stock forecasting & planning

- Channel/Chain initiatives in terms of Consumer Promotions & Visibility for driving business goals

- Investment Planning. Monthly MIS preparation & analysis

- Playing an integral role in new business planning

- Responsible for the effective on-boarding of new channel partners

- You will act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant internal functions

2)People Management- Facilitating the sales team to increase business for each channel along with all backend support.

- Manage a team of KAM's to drive and deliver accounts

Education & Experience:

- Graduate with minimum 8-10 years of experience in key account management preferably in Nutrition/ wellness industry

Required Skills:

- Sales Management, Planning and Operational Skills

- Negotiation Skills

- Team Management is must

- Ability to work in a start up like environment, maintain flexibility and meet deadlines

- Business-centric focus on understanding and translating the needs to match internal business goals and objectives.

- Maintains a proactive and positive approach to resolving conflict and or business issues.

- Individual Contributor role
