Key Account Executive - Field Sales - FMCG (5-6 yrs)

We have an urgent opening for the position of Key Account Executive in One of the big Indian Multinational companies dealing with FMCG Products. This position is based in Mumbai.

Purpose of the job:

The Key Account Executive (KAE) has to ensure end-to-end last mile execution of the chain-specific plans closed by the KAM. It involves developing long-term productive relationships with the chain counterparts and ensuring operational alignment with the field force, supply chain and finance teams.

Qualification & Work Experience :

- Graduate / MBA with exposure 5- 6 years experience in field sales

- Exposure in managing regional chains or past exposure in managing C&C & eB2B chains may be an advantage

- Modern trade channel working know-how, MT field sales experience will be preferred

- Ability to derive insights from data

- Strong working efficiency on MS excel

Key responsibilities :

- Delivering top line sales, market share for key brands, and increasing the salience of Non-KVI SKUs through proper planning for the financial year B2B chains.

- Liaising with internal and chain commercial teams to ensure claim clearance for all executed visibilities, schemes, and activations within timelines. Ensure end-to-end closure & signoff of all commercial NDCs with Chains.

- Delivering fill rate targets for the financial year by supporting KAM in the monthly forecasting process, liaising with the logistics team for stock movement, and coordinating with chain implants.

- Updating database for price increases/decreases, EAN codes, margins, etc.

- Supporting KAM in chain quarter schemes, visibility and other input closures, liaising with the Customer Trade Marketing team to ensure all plans are executed on the ground.

- Build strong long-term relationships with chain counterparts through regular meetings and provide operational support to ensure the execution of all plans closed by the KAM.

- Liaising with field sales team to provide operational support to ensure last mile execution of all closed plans.

- Supporting KAM with day-to-day business review & planning through effective data analysis & team coordination.

- Derive market insights for business growth through Field visits, Chain meetings & Competitive analysis.
