Search Engine Optimization Role (2-4 yrs)
You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to increase the company's online visibility and drive organic traffic to our website. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of SEO best practices, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of successful SEO campaigns.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategy Development :
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic.
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-potential keywords and phrases.
- Analyze competitors and industry trends to inform SEO strategy.
- The ideal candidate should have experience in client-side operations and client-facing roles
On-Page Optimization :
- Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and URLs for target keywords.
- Ensure website structure and navigation are SEO-friendly.
- Implement and monitor on-page SEO improvements.
- Strong knowledge of SEO for eCommerce and WooCommerce websites.
Technical SEO :
- Conduct technical SEO audits and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with web developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented on the website.
- Monitor and resolve issues related to website indexing, crawlability, and site speed.
Content Strategy :
- Work closely with content creators to develop SEO-optimized content.
- The candidate should know the pillar-cluster content strategy and E.E.A.T
- Ensure content is aligned with SEO strategies and objectives.
Link Building
- Develop and execute effective link-building strategies.
- Identify and engage with relevant industry influencers and websites for backlink opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze backlink profiles to ensure quality and relevance.
Performance Analysis
- Use SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) to track and report on SEO performance.
- Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of SEO strategies and campaigns.
- Provide regular reports and insights weekly to the Client.
Stay Updated :
- Stay informed about the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Continuously test and refine SEO strategies based on industry developments.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in SEO with a proven track record of successful SEO campaigns.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
