Manager - Career Services

- The Manager Career Services coordinates end-to-end and is responsible for student internships and placements. This includes to schedule, organize, and manage placement activities for the Design / Law / Liberal Arts / Management Students at Karnavati University, provide ample opportunities for students to achieve 100% success in terms of internships, projects, and placements, and play an instrumental role in developing and sustaining a mutually beneficial long-term relationship with the industry / organizations / employers.

Responsibilities :

- Prepare a comprehensive list of corporates, recruiters for outreach based on students preferences, upcoming market trends, and appropriate job matches with the help of the student councils and other internal stakeholders.

- Build relationships with Hiring Managers, Decision Makers, and CXOs in India's top 2000 corporates and send out information about the university's student profiles / portfolios.

- Administer and manage a centralized placement portal and students resume bank through the student placement committees.

- Collect the job announcement / description, requirements, job details, and specifications from the representatives of each interested organization and share the same with the students in a timely manner.

- Appoint and collaborate with the Student Placement Committee in consultation with HOD and Deans.

- Provide information, advice, and guidance to students through various mediums, such as individual meetings, group sessions, email, etc.

- Maintain and update necessary data / details pertaining to internships, placements, and other KRAs / KPIs.

- Utilize the provided placement-centric or CRM or similar tools optimally. Coordinate with technology teams for system-related support and ensure data accuracy.

- Maintain a database of recruiters and update it on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.

- Share industry feedback, trends, and expectations with the students, and MIS and reporting student profiles, client database, activity reports with the leadership team.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree with minimum 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in Key Account Management, B2B Sales & Marketing, Campus Recruitment, Placement or Career Services Office, or Corporate Relations.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel) and CRM tools.

- Demonstrated ability to take initiative in developing employment opportunities.

- Knowledge of university programs, the business community and the job market.

- Good counseling and group leadership skills.

- Willingness to travel (within the city, state, and country) as per work requirements.
