Kadence - Assistant Brand Manager (5-7 yrs)

Responsibilities

- Utilizes category and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation in product development as well as marketing initiatives.

- Sets brand planning calendar, coordinates cross-functional activities and planning processes, manage timelines and ensures timely completion of all deliverables.

- Brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term

- Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media

- Assisting with product development, pricing and new product launches as well as developing new business opportunities

- Creating and managing promotional collateral to establish and maintain product branding

- Managing the budget for advertising and promotional items

- Competitor and customer insights analysis

- Analysis of sales forecasts and relevant financials and reporting on product sales

- Researching consumer markets, monitoring market trends and identifying potential areas in which to invest, based upon consumer needs and spending habits

- Looking at the pricing of products and analysing the potential profitability

- Generating names for new and existing products and services, coming up with ideas for new packaging designs, including shape, size, colours, fonts and imagery

- Overseeing the production of TV adverts, newspaper and magazine advertisements, direct mail packs, email campaigns, websites, exhibition stands, roadshows and liaising with art designers, copywriters, media buyers and printers

- Monitoring product distribution and consumer reactions through focus groups and market research

- Coordinating the launch programme to external customers as well as employees.

- Represents the company and provides support as needed at various trade shows and conventions

- Utilizes category and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation in product development as well as marketing initiatives.

- Collaborates with the sales team for specific strategies for clients

Desired Skills & Experience

- Brand awareness - a clear understanding of brands and the marketing mix

- The ability to manage and allocate budgets

- Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges

- Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing

- Able to work well with a wide range of people from different parts of the business

- Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time

- An ability to think strategically and come up with campaigns

- Experience with CRM tool such as HubSpot will be an added advantage

- Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc

- Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas

- 5-7 years of experience as an Assistant Brand Manager

- Master or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
