Job Title : Sales Manager

Location : Mulund, Mumbai

- Kaarwan is a platform for short, affordable & interactive cohort-based courses for beginners & professionals in the Architecture & Design Industry. We have designed a playbook to create quality courses that teach the most relevant use cases in a hands-on & interactive environment. We are the first in India to build such a platform for the masses

Responsibilities :

- Sales Strategy and Execution : Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve sales targets and revenue goals. Identify market opportunities, analyze customer needs, and formulate effective sales strategies. Collaborate with the senior management team to align sales goals with overall business objectives. Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and market dynamics to identify potential challenges and opportunities.

- Team Management and Development : Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive high performance. Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team's skills and capabilities. Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.

- Relationship Building and Key Account Management : Build and nurture relationships with key clients, educational institutions, and other stakeholders in the region. Develop a deep understanding of their requirements, objectives, and challenges. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions and maximize customer satisfaction. Drive customer retention and growth by providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

- Sales Operations and Reporting : Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and sales analytics. Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales processes, identify sales trends, and make informed business decisions. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.

- Market Expansion and Business Development : Identify and explore new market opportunities. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify potential target segments and product enhancements. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and promotional activities. Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances to drive business growth.

Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is preferred.

- Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the education or ed-tech industry.

- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.

- In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and best practices.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.

- Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.

- Strong business acumen and market awareness.

- Result-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

Salary : 6 Lac - 8.4 Lac per annum + Incentives

- 3+ years experience in managing sales team (inside sales)

- Experience in education sales preferred
