Jaypee Brothers Medical - Copy Editor (2-6 yrs)
- Review and revise content for accuracy and quality, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
- Assists in proof reading documents, including checking content for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Manage the workflow in copy editing.
- Superior writing and editing skills, demonstrated proficiency in proof reading, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Impeccable grammatical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Strong desire and ability to achieve accuracy of fact and language use down to the finest details.
-Check facts and raise queries with the author.
- Demonstrated ability to do online research and find information quickly.
- Compile and update style guides as required.
- Ability to copy-edit quickly, at a pace that reflects an understanding of the overall workload.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, English or related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years- experience required
- Experiencing in publishing or editing preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Leadership and time management skills.
- Proficient in desktop publishing software and Microsoft office.
