Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis:

- Conduct thorough market research to understand the specific needs and trends within the government sector.

- Identify key competitors, market gaps, and potential opportunities for leased line services.

Client Relationship Management :

- Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients, including federal, state, and local government agencies.

- Understand clients' requirements, pain points, and long-term connectivity needs.

Solution Proposal :

- Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized leased line solutions tailored to each client's needs.

- Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to government clients.

Sales and Business Development:

- Develop a strategic sales plan to target government clients and achieve revenue targets.

- Prospect for new clients and opportunities through cold calls, networking, and industry events.

- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

Compliance and Regulations :

- Stay updated on government regulations and compliance requirements related to leased line services.

- Ensure that all proposals and contracts adhere to government procurement rules.

Team Collaboration :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and legal, to deliver the best solutions to clients.

Reporting and Forecasting:

- Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular sales reports to management.

- Forecast sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Client Support:

- Act as a point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring a smooth implementation and ongoing support.

Industry Knowledge:

- Stay informed about the latest technology trends and advancements in leased line services.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Proven track record of successful business development in the telecommunications or IT industry, preferably with experience in government sales.

- In-depth understanding of leased line services and connectivity solutions.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

- Knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Self-motivated and results-oriented.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to travel as required.

- This role as a Business Development Manager for Leased Line Services in the government sector is critical in expanding the organization's presence and revenue in this market segment.
