JOB PURPOSE :

The purpose of this role is to handle sales and help in creating awareness about the product

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES :

EXPECTED END RESULTS MAJOR ACTIVITIES :

- Business Profitability

- Achieve individual as well as station targets

- Ensure presence and coverage of all accounts

- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries.

- Conduct live Demo's of the products

- Advising on forthcoming product developments

- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales

- Customer Acquisition & Retention

- Maintain relationships and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support

- Increase market share in the accounts assigned.

- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.

- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments & information

- Maintain a sales / support visit plan to ensure optimum utilization of time.

- Retention & Growth of Business

- Provide Trainings (Classroom / Onsite / Virtual) to internal / external customers on all Travelport GDS Products

- Updating the market on all new products launched

- Maintain a constant stream of Travelport GDS trained resource

- Revenue Generation

- Tie up with Non-ITQ customers like colleges and Travel institutes and generate revenue for the company

- Customer orientation/ Satisfaction

- Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.

- Ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and feedback on system availability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve the related issues by providing the concrete solutions.

- Ensure installations of new products and features for customer benefit.

- Test recommendation and error reporting before launching the new product before launching.

- Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
