Institutional Sales Role


Role & Responsibilities :


As a Banquet/Institutional Sales Executive at Cigar Conexion, you will be responsible for fostering relationships with key points of contact (POCs) at hotels, bars, and lounges in Bangalore. Your primary goal will be to promote and sell our premium cigar products for events and institutional settings.

Key Responsibilities :

Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, event planners, and managers at hotels, bars, and lounges in Bangalore.

Sales Generation : Drive sales of our premium cigar products for banquets, events, and institutional settings by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.

Market Research : Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.

Networking : Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand your professional network and promote our products.

Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials to support sales initiatives.

Customer Service : Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Reporting : Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback for regular reporting to management.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or FMCG industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages, with the ability to effectively present product information and negotiate terms.

- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to meet and exceed sales targets.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Basic understanding of cigar products and the luxury goods market is preferred, but not required.
