Job Description: Branding & Marketing Expert
About the Role
This position is dedicated to driving the promotion of natural farming and cooperative products. The candidate will spearhead the creation of business strategies, focusing on marketing and distribution while seeking funding and partnership opportunities. Responsibilities include implementing initiatives within the community, boosting visibility through innovative campaigns and social media, and forging connections with e-commerce platforms. The role also entails developing training resources and supporting knowledge documentation, all aimed at fostering sustainable practices and achieving impactful project results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of business strategies for promoting natural farming and cooperative products through online and offline platforms.
- Identify potential funding and partnership opportunities with like-minded organisations.
- Support implementation of business development initiatives at the community level (SHGs, Co-Ops).
- Create and implement marketing and distribution plans for cooperative products.
- Write proposals to secure funding from various donors and organisations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Enhance visibility of ISRA's initiatives through partnerships, marketing campaigns, and social media.
- Establish market linkages for the SHGs and cooperatives with e-commerce platforms and other sources
- Develop training modules to promote branding and marketing of cooperative products.
- Collaborate on workshops and other capacity-building events.
- Support documentation and development of knowledge products.
- Any other duties as assigned by the management.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Development Studies, Engineering or related fields.
- 4-6 years of experience in business development, proposal writing, and marketing, preferably in the development sector.
- Proven experience in securing funding and managing donor relations.
- Strong project management skills and familiarity with e-commerce platforms and market linkages.
- Fluency in English and local language (Hindi & Punjabi) is essential.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- Master's degree in relevant fields.
- Experience in working with cooperatives and rural enterprises.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of agricultural supply chains and cooperative marketing models.
- Creative and strategic thinking in marketing and product branding.
Travel Requirement: This position requires frequent travel to various locations to oversee and implement branding and marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
The salary will be determined based on market standards and your previous remuneration.
