- Our client is a financial technology start-up based in Delhi-NCR. The company was founded by former UK's Capital One banker who has more than 15 years of domain expertise in driving innovation in digital finance, credit analytics and mobile payments in the Indian and global markets. They aim to make financial products affordable and easily accessible to the person when needs financial assistance at the most. Their team is equipped with experienced and qualified finance professionals associated from the top-notch institutions such as IIT, LBS, IIM, Stephen's, LSE, and various global banks

The Job :

You will be responsible for :

- Partnering with the client relationship managers to provide timely and relevant investment advisory services to clients.

- Analyzing clients' risk appetite, investment preferences and return expectations and proposing investment solutions accordingly.

- Analyzing investment portfolios to determine asset re-allocation opportunities.

- Developing, reviewing, and making recommendations for changes in investment policies based on market conditions.

- Complying with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.

- Setting the vision and strategy for the credit risk function working in conjunction with all other senior leaders and partner banks/NBFCs


- Monitor acquisition funnel, model performance & portfolio trends to develop strategic lending and business insights

- Creation of the risk and underwriting policies, infrastructure, development and implementation of underwriting models, risk decision strategies and fraud detection.

- Ensuring that the Governance, Risk, Underwriting, Compliance and Control Frameworks of India Lends function effectively

- Oversight of collections and debt recovery

- Keep strategy in line with risk and performance appetite of the organization

- Provide thought-leadership on improving customer-acquisition strategies, developing statistical credit models

- Ideate and launch next-generation lending products and structures that will drive the next round of innovation and disruption in the unsecured lending space

Ideal Candidate :

- You have at least 15 years experience including solid experience in a similar role within Financial Services.

- You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard

- You are a strong networker & relationship builder

- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data

- You have 10+ years of experience in Credit Risk

- You have extensive credit risk background in unsecured lending and/or lending in India

- You have experience of developing lending models and portfolio management strategies Knowledge:

- Strong retail product knowledge with a focus on credit cards and loans.

- Banking practices, financial markets & the country's regulatory framework.
