About the Job:

IndusInd Bank Payments business team is a Center of excellence for all Payments Products and currently services the various Business Units of the Bank both in organic and partnership models. The Products currently managed by this team are PoS terminals, Payment Gateway (PG), UPI QR + API stack, Bharat QR, AePS, FASTags, Aadhar Pay and other ancillary products. This team also manages very large Aggregator and BIN sponsorship partnerships. There are clearly defined Revenue and Cost targets of this group. The team includes members belonging to Product, Portfolio Risk, Service and relationship management.

Our Vision is to penetrate and dominate the Business owner and SME segment with the various Payment products available with the Bank and completely own this segment's Payment and Collection flows. Our focus is both Online and Offline payments and intend to achieve the 5 Mn merchant target across micro-retailers including Business Correspondent clientele, small and large format retailers and enterprise clients.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITY

1. Acquires new Merchants through active referrals from self generated leads and thereafter adds these clients to his/her existing portfolio for future cross sell.

2. Implements Merchant engagement programs with a view to ensure top of mind recall for Merchants.

3. Easily establish relationship with Merchants and build a rapport.

4. Relate well to different types of customers and adapt his/her style to ensure that the customer is comfortable with the Bank.

5. Plan & implement promotions campaigns and build relationship such that the team delivers its targets.

6. Track and achieve revenue/penetration and wallet share targets as stipulated by the management

7. Achieve the Merchant Acquiring Sales and revenue targets agreed at the beginning of the year.

8. To have a clear Understanding of the KYC & AML guidelines of the Bank and define the sales process/strategy accordingly.

9. To be well aware of the business economics including MDR, VISA/MC/RuPay cost heads, subvention requirements and market rates and try to create an optimized portfolio.

10. Generate performance reports and identify gaps/opportunities.

PREFERRED Skill Set / Education / Background:

- Deep understanding of Merchant Acquiring business including new age digital POS channels

- Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

- Understanding of KYC guidelines and its applicability in Merchant Acq biz

- Written and verbal knowledge of English and the local language in the market

- Presentable and dynamic

- Sound Analytical and logical reasoning capabilities.

- Should have managed cross functional Projects

- Excellent Communication Skills

- Interpersonal skills

- Analytical and Project management skills
