Area Sales Manager would be responsible for driving rapid expansion of revenues and profits via the company's Marketplace channel. The position is responsible for driving growth through procuring,building and maintaining vendors / channel partners and their relationships. He / She would be responsible to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver that will turn any challenge into an opportunity and is comfortable working with several moving pieces at once. He / She should also be adaptable to new technology and can think holistically to update our business workflows for our internal teams. We are looking for a highly motivated change team player to join our start-up mission and vision of the company, who can collaborate and support all our internal marketplace cross-functional teams. The role is responsible for continuing and expanding on existing efforts to enforce Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy, with the objective of swiftly achieving a uniform Marketplace position for the portfolio. The position is responsible for driving top line revenue growth while laying the foundation for opportunities to expand margin and grow the bottom line as the Marketplace landscape becomes streamlined and optimized.


- Responsible for bringing selection on Ichhapurti Marketplace platform by onboarding new sellers/vendors for targeted categories across Pan India through Feet on Street partners.

- Define and drive strategy and Go-To-Market approach per partner/ vendor.

- Should be able to shape the complete vendor channel for selection related seller onboarding from process, legal, financial, and operational aspects. Drive the vendor procurement vertical end to end, from contract negotiations, and onboarding new partners to making amendments in the scope of work, and master service agreement. Also, should have hands on looking into Purchase order creation, budgeting, and ROI of the channel on a month on month basis. Single point of contact for all vendors / partners, heading and managing the vertical centrally. Managing vendor / partner performance, guiding them, and driving targets on selection, and sellers on- boarded.

- Taking care of the whole invoicing piece of the channel at partner level, doing audits, and setting guardrails.

- Working closely with various teams across the company like, Marketplace business, vendor procurement, Seller onboarding, seller marketing, category design office, training,, product and tech, vendor management, payments, accounts, etc to form a seamless process.

- Designing payout and incentive structure for partners / vendors basis company requirements,market trend, and competition study.

- Direct the sales and marketing activities for the Company's Ecommerce Marketplace channel; build and manage direct relationships with Marketplace accounts and leverage specialty Marketplace management partners/ vendors.

- Monitoring promotional activities across all marketplaces. Drive significant revenue growth through the Marketplace channel. Develop and present a marketing and advertising budget to drive Marketplace channel sales; update quarterly and adhere to guidelines regarding pricing,promotional strategy, and advertising budget once established, presented to and approved by Leadership.

- Identify opportunities to expand the breadth of product portfolio positioned to the Marketplace channel; conduct competitive set analysis to inform positioning and create a roadmap for gaining market share.

- Adhere to Company vision and mission; adhere to Ichhapurti strategy and creative direction.Oversee the Company's Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy programming.

- Drive significant gains in revenue via the Marketplace channel, and support the Company's vision of building this channel into a strategic profit center. Expand Icchapurti Pan India awareness by onboarding and optimizing opportunities in collaboration with other Sales leaders.

- Identify opportunities to leverage business with the Company's bricks-and-mortar retail partners to expand Ichhapurti awareness and facilitate growth in Marketplace sales. Ichhapurti.
