With a successful launch of multiple smartphones in India - HMD Global is planning to expand its team by hiring a young and dynamic Consumer Community Engagement Manager.

The Consumer Community Engagement Manager will manage the Fan Acquisition, Retention and Growth strategy for HMD Global. She/he will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing this strategy, working cross functionally with Marketing, Product and PR teams.

Key Responsibilities/ Tasks-

1. To design the all-up strategy for fan acquisition straddling HMD owned, operated and paid digital channels, in conjunction with the Marketing team.

2. To identify opportunities and touch points in the overall Marketing and Communications calendar and leverage them for consumer engagement opportunities.

3. He/she will manage the community / fan engagement around new product launch events. In addition, be responsible for managing an active calendar for face to face engagement with the community / fans through the year

4. He/she will partner with the Marketing team for on-ground activation programs and brand related campaigns to drive engagement with fans.

5. Partner the product strategy team for on-ground and online engagements.

6. Evangelizes about how Social Content & Engagement Strategy can drive growth (both brand and product); translates that message into real-world practices and applications

7. Curiosity for uncovering emerging social media platforms and/or first-mover opportunities with existing platforms

8. Oversight of all social media campaign content in partnership with the Social Media Strategist, Global and regional marketing team and creative team

9. Understand how digital content moves through today's digital landscape and define relevant and impactful content strategies for company's digital channels and community of Fans and followers.

10. Monitor trends in digital and social media. Analytics for the management team related to Community Engagement.

11. Source and generate visual content (with a heavy emphasis on creation of original imagery) for key company and product initiatives and in support of Nokia Phones as Most trusted brand, aligning with brand voice and aesthetic

12. Establish open channels for customer feedback and conversation

BACKGROUND/QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or higher.

- Minimum of 10-12 years of social marketing experience, with two of them preferably doing content marketing or Community Management for a Technology brand.

- Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to come up with big ideas and execute with an anything is possible attitude

- Expert knowledge of all things digital and social

- Quick responder, can respond in real-time to audience and jumps on opportunities

- Strong creative skills (writing and Design)

- Obsessed with the internet and pop culture - you're the first in your friend group to hear about the next big thing

- Experience in influencer outreach and product seeding

- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with a wide range of internal departments

- Quick learner with proficiency in a variety of social publishing, listening and reporting tools

- Not required but a plus to have design experience and proficiency in Photoshop or other design programs

- Worked in the Matrix organization culture with global presence.

Reporting Line:

- Reporting to Head- Communications - India .

- Working closely with other stakeholders like - Brand Marketing team, Online marketing, Leadership Team and Product team.

Position will be based out of our India HO- Gurgaon.

Compensation- As per the industry norms.
