Content Writer

Location : Mumbai - Ghansoli

Experience : 4 Years to 6 Years

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Perform ad hoc research to develop and produce web based and print content

2. Prepare internal / external communications including announcements, press releases, quarterly corporate reports, presentations, sales support materials, marketing collaterals, etc. as required

3. Coordinate content creation & publishing of company newsletters (internal or external)

4. Add to creative and strategic ideas for both online and offline marketing initiatives

5. Develop content to demonstrate organization's impact on the industry

6. Draft and edit editorials, talking points and other thought leadership papers

7. Create and post timely content on organization's website as well as optimize existing content

8. Develop content for organization's social media website pages

9. Help plan and implement social marketing campaigns

10. Utilize industry and organizational knowledge to develop ideas and content

11. Maintain process and determine efficiency and effectiveness of the same

12. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to create content and style guidelines

13. Develop compelling content for various languages, markets, platforms and learners

14. Utilize graphics editing and media creation programs to develop prototypes and storyboards

15. Proof reading, editing and writing content on a regular basis

16. Keeps up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends

17. Support video creation process for the organization by way of developing scripts that are compelling for the targeted audience

18. Being a part of the Content CoE, to collaborate with the team as well as with other stakeholders effectively to produce the right content

Requirements :

1. Graduate with a good command over the English language

2. Bachelor's or Masters in Degree in English, Journalism, or Communication is a must

3. 4 Years- experience in content writing, editing, proof-reading

4. Superior command of the English language including rules and usage

5. Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and time management skills

6. Flair for writing with an understanding of what works on the internet

7. Ability to work in a team with good communication and presentation skills

8. Effective writing style that is fresh, consistent and customer friendly

9. Ability to edit and proof read with excellent research skills

10. Ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences

11. Ability to meet aggressive deadlines

12. Ability to function effectively as part of a team

13. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality

14. Ability to understand and follow directions

15. Knowledge of multiple languages helpful

16. Experience in writing for the Web, content management and internet research

17. Experience with social networks and implementation of social media marketing

18. An understanding of keywords and meta tags - Ability to write web page titles, meta tag descriptions, alt tags for images etc.

19. Good knowledge about the IT service industry

20. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally at all levels within the organization

21. Self-motivated with the right attitude who can work well within extended teams

22. Familiarity in working with any leading technology organization would be an added advantage.
