Head - Sales - Pharma (10-15 yrs)
Accountable and Responsible for:
Technical Skills :
- Leading the entire Sales Function of the organisation - National Sales, International Sales and Channel Sales
- Delivering the Sales targets of the organisation across product families
- Ensuring the promotion, bidding for enquiry /project across India /International
- Hire, train and groom Sales Engineers as required
- Channel development nationally and internationally
- Analyse marketing enquiries / leads received from various sources
- Sell technical solutions through mature dialogue with senior client executives
- Ensure timely payment collections
- Review & monitor team performance
- Motivating, retention and career growth of the team
- Evaluate & approve costing & estimation for customised solutions with the team
- Ready for extensive travel - minimum 75%
- Understanding of securing Tender business
- Experience in Sales of Pharma/Process equipments and experience of dealing with Pharma Companies will be preferred
- Develop marketing strategies to increase the demand for the company's products & solutions
- Device new strategies, Pharmaceutical & Biotech Market Study, Build relationships with customers, industry associations, industry bodies, and dealers towards brand building for the company
- Showcase the capabilities of the company at various industrial forums, both in India and internationally, like Trade Fairs,conferences, etc.
Functional Skills :
- Design go-to market strategy and incentivize channel partners to go after right market segments, competitors, and close business
- To gain and upgrade companies various product. To collect and study information of competitors products and market
- Overcoming entry barriers in highly critical, competitive and closely knit bio-pharma & Sterile Injectable industry
- Correct and complete understanding of the customer requirements in order to offer a complete solution
- MBA Marketing, Bio Pharma, Pharma degree preferred, having 10-15 years of experience in Sales & Marketing,of which, at least 5 years should be in sales of projects.
- He must be currently in a team leading role in Sales with atleast 3 years of team leading experience.
- He should have excellent Communication and Presentation skills and should be well versed with use of IT tools for sales.
