Head - Sales - Media (8-10 yrs)
PURPOSE OF THE JOB :
- To ensure P&L achievement and ensure smooth & effective operations for the location.
- To ensure that the top-line and the bottom-line targets are achieved.
- To define the targets for the location in terms of revenue and profitability.
- To ensure that cost are kept low and profits are high.
- To ensure implementation of systems and procedures as formalized by corporate.
- To train, develop and guide team members reporting, to achieve primary objectives. Monitor and assess performance of team members reporting into and ensure performance standards are met by all the team members of location.
- To give feedback through reports about the market to the Corporate Office which will serve as inputs for next target setting period.
- Timely escalation of issues pertaining to regulatory / human resources etc to the corporate office
- To build the image of the particular location through planned PR interventions and relationship with other media in the city.
- To ensure that the technical equipment and infrastructure is maintained and managed.
- To formulate strategies, explore new business avenues and new markets for media.
- The aspirant is required to work with significant independence and take guidance from the Chief Operating Officer and is expected to recruit, train, motivate, discipline, assign and then evaluate work of the direct reportees.
