Head - Sales - CISCO (10-12 yrs)

JOB DESCRIPTION :


- Would be a leader to develop the business practise ground up from scratch.


- Should be an individual contributor to the business and a prime mover of the business development efforts.


- Should carry the entire target relevant to the business.


- Should be a team leader and be capable in bringing team members to grow the business.


- Should be able to present business facts with precision with top management/Director level.


- Should be well networked, and should enjoy a good professional reputation amongst Industry peers, within the OEM (Cisco) and Channel partner ecosystem.


- Should have through knowledge of fulfilment through INR /USD/ duty free SEZ


- Should have complete knowledge of the entire solution stack in networking, security and datacentre.


REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :


- 10+ years of relevant sales experience selling IT Infrastructure solutions of which more than 5-7 years selling Cisco networking and security solutions


- Must have at least 15 Home Accounts - where the candidate is doing active business


- Should be able to bring deep engagement relationships with customers from current role as a value add


- Should have done business of at least 1.5 million USD or 10 crores INR of Cisco Networking /Security in each of the last two consecutive years.


- Should have thorough understanding of Cisco sales processes, deal approval processes, OEM alignment processes that are required to win business


- Should know the local Cisco sales and presales team well and enjoy good working relationships with them


- Drive engagement with customers through an approach complimentary to the customer.


- Should be hands on and understand customer's/prospects business very well.


- Comfortable in engaging and having good relationships with executives at multiple levels, from senior management, middle management in IT, Procurement and Commercial departments


- Should be conversant with all major IT infrastructure solution domains like - Datacenter, Hyper convergence, Business continuity, Campus Networking, Data Center networking, Security etc.


- Should possess key attributes of maximizing profitability and differentiating from competition in any given opportunity.


- Should possess strategic depth to see the big picture as well as pay attention to detail.


- Excellent grasp of local language, culture etc.
