Job Description Head Marketing - MWF

Reporting to: Division Head MWF

Total Exp : 10-15 years

Role & Responsibilities :


- Responsible for all India Marketing and Sales of Specialty Industrial Oils and Lubricants.

- Develop long term and short term plans setting up quantitative and qualitative targets for sales, margins, costs and resources

- Responsible for achievement of targets.

- Selection, appointment and management of appropriate channel partners for sales.

- Selection, appointment, training, management, retention and motivation of manpower resources.

- Leading with "hands-on" and "lead by example" approach for Marketing and sales professionals.

- Responsible for generating orders of specialty Industrial Oils & Lubricants & Oils.

- Develop sound strategies to achieve profitable growth and targeted market share to be ranked as one of the five largest Companies in the selected segment in the next five years.

- Develop and establish promotional strategies and implementing sales campaigns that fits the needs of business and products.

- Devise, deploy and manage methods to ensure that debtors and inventory levels are optimized to a minimum working capital level without sacrificing business targets.

- Customer service focused at all times with the ability to remain flexible and calm in high pressure or continually changing situations.

- Set up and maintain an efficient and responsive customer service network.

- Undertake and maintain updated market surveys, analysis and market intelligence, monitor competitor activities.

- Obtain and maintain approvals of Customer for Company products

- Work with R&D and Production to develop, update and modify products to meet the requirements of customers and achieve high sales growth.

- Set up and maintain monitoring systems and MIS

- Participate in Seminars, exhibitions and trade bodies

- Supervise the planning, development and use of marketing, promotion and communication materials.Use of E-marketing

- Responsible for implementing and maintaining systems best practices such as LEAN, ISO, SIX SIGMA, ERP etc. towards building a "culture of excellence".

- Strategize with top management to evolve and deploy roadmap for "world class marketing & exports" (handled or initiated Seminars, Exhibitions etc) with respect to the business plan.

- Effectively utilizes CRM to manage and track leads. Proactively generate leads by meeting new clients, driving the entire sales cycle with the goal of revenue growth. Develops the business thru networking events and have a can do attitude.

Skills:

1 Primary (must have) Full knowledge of the job, products, industry practices, price levels, cost structures and competition. Should have excellent relationships with customers, channel partners and industry professionals. Focus on specialty, high value-added products. Strategist, administrator, extrovert, commercial acumen, people management skills, channel management skills.

2 Secondary (also have) Formally educated in the domain field, preferably post-graduation from premier institute with some formal education in management/leadership skills. Knowledge of ISO, IMS, TS and other Best practices.

3(nice to have) Good language, communication and presentation skills Analytical mind. High on Perseverance and resilience.

Experience:

10-15 years experience with industry leaders in pan India sales and marketing of specialty industry oils and lubricants with demonstrated performance in achieving high levels of growth and building up of teams and networks.
