Reporting - Business head India

Team Size - 01

Location - Mumbai Corporate Office

Role &responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning

- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic and tactical marketing plans to drive rapid India sales growth

- Work with cross-functional teams and India's sales force to ensure marketing programs and events meet the needs of both internal and external customers

- Develop local marketing initiatives that maximize sales force effectiveness and overall penetration of product line

- Assist in the development and execution of promotional plans, clinical marketing presentations, tradeshow strategy, peer-to-peer programs, and general sales force support

- Monitor costs of projects and internal and external indicators by reviewing reports and newsletters, reading organizational literature, meeting with peers and reading departmental reports

- Independently determine and develop approaches to solutions, specifically in the area of upstream marketing

- Ensure compliance to all FDA Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function)

- Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval

- Able to practice verbatim compliance (exact compliance, no interpretation) with corporate Quality and Regulatory procedures (as applicable to your job function)

- Able to promptly report any non-compliance issues to Chief QA, RA, Compliance officer or appropriate administrator, including the Compliance Hotline

2. Leadership

- People Leadership of multiple employees and several teams including the direct management of the Marketing employees.

- Provide knowledge, advice, direction, and feedback on a daily basis. Act as a mentor to direct reports.

- Performance Management of individuals including assisting with incident investigations that include Marketing employees, reviews, and termination of employment contracts.

- Conduct annual Performance Reviews, Bonus Plan development, and reviews. Talent Management of up and coming individuals and succession planning.

- Build and maintain an effective Leadership Team.

- Induct new employees, conduct monthly Probation Reviews.

- Oversee attraction, sourcing, development, and retention of a (regional) sales organization appropriate for the company's maturity/size.

- Be a role model for company culture.

3. Business Development

- Oversee Marketing business development, identify new market opportunities,

- drive growth, determining the optimal pricing to balance profit with customer/client satisfaction, and directing marketing operations.

- Drive the development of national, and, if appropriate, international sales strategies.

4. Marketing

- Collaboration with Marcoms in development of high impact product campaigns, either launch or refocus, ensuring accurate market segmentation and positioning, maximizing commercial ROI.

- Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company and promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.

- Networking within the field of Medical Devices and key opinion leaders including engagement with health executives.

5. Financials

- Develop and manage Marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.

- Financial reporting in Leadership meetings, reports and directly to the Managing Director- India.

- Assume full accountability for the Marketing department compliance.

6. Marketing Management

- Establish compensation, training and incentive programs.

- Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts. Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base.

- Work closely with Sales BU to develop, establish, and direct channel and distribution strategies and programs.

- Work closely with Sales BU to develop and execute lead programs.

- Manage overall Marketing process, set appropriate metrics for sales channel management.

- Develop pricing policies, including volume discounts and terms and conditions, for high-profile customers and channel partners.

- Manager overall state Marketing teams to drive performance and results.

7. Commercial Operations

- Liaise with the Commercial Operations BU and consult on Corporate Partnerships, Marketing Effectiveness, and Training.

- Collaboration with Operations Division, aim for the accuracy of inventory planning and forecasting and general internal warehousing process compliance by commercial team members.

Quality System Duties and Responsibilities :

- Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
