Channel Sales Head (Looking for a Candidate from Solar Industry only)

Job Description:

- Establish and drive a country wide network of Channel Partners and Dealers to promote the organizations range of products across all geographies.

- Put in place policies and implement them to ensure proper coverage of the network and uniform growth.

- Ensuring regular monitoring and improvement of the Channel network by reviewing the performance of existing Partners and adding new ones as per plan and requirement.

- Responsible for conducting optimum network coverage activities like territory mapping & Dealer/ Distributor appointment.

- Implementing pricing and placement strategies to ensure optimum profitability and uniform product availability across the Channel network.

- Drive the newly introduced product range as well as the existing ranges by formulating network coverage policy; designing criteria and guidelines of channel management & instituting process, programs & systems to improve network performance as per requirements.

- Responsible for devising innovative schemes for the Channel engagement and successfully implementing them, to keep the Partners always motivated.

- Organizing local level Partners engagement meets and interactive programmes to keep the Channel involved and up to date with the products and policies of the company.

- Ensuring the proper coverage of the entire geography of the country with company and/or the Partner's manpower. Also ensuring the training of the Partner's manpower to upskill them and to keep them up to date with the product knowledge.

- Ensuring that the Channel Partners maintain stocks as per their defined agreements so that the Dealers can get material ex-stock from them.

- Responsible for the secondary sales of the Partners and to ensure that there is no unnecessary build up of stock with the Partners.

- Coordinating with various backend teams in the company to ensure proper and timely response to the Partners for smooth coordination between the Partners and the company.

- Working closely with the Marketing Team to devise ATL and BTL campaigns, as per local requirements of every region.

- To provide sales forecast as per the requirement of the company and ensuring their achievement.

- Lastly, but most importantly, fully responsible for ensuring the profitability goals as defined by the company from time to time.
