Our mission is to empower alternative investment managers in the United States with cutting-edge quantitative techniques, analytical insights, and strategic consulting to optimize their performance in the competitive market. As we expand our reach and strengthen our partnerships, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Business Development & Sales to lead our growth initiatives.

Job Summary: As the Head of Business Development & Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our company by leveraging your deep expertise in the fields of Quantitative Analytics, Finance, and Investment. Your primary focus will be to build strategic alliances, forge key partnerships, and identify new business opportunities to expand our client base and market presence.

You will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies that align with our long-term goals and objectives. Develop strong product and asset class knowledge and demonstrate interest in the industry. Interact with internal team to help create and maintain up-to-date, high quality presentation materials. Define market requirement to the team members to optimize solutions.

The person should have commercial acumen overload, knowing how to grow a business.

Should be able to give a plan, detailing how you are going to grow the business in the next five years.

This plan should include :

Market analysis - this will consist of descriptions of what state the industry is in, any problems it faces, whether it's growing or not, and how influential you are in the local market.

A SWOT analysis- determine strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and establish a plan from that.

Sales objectives - compare future sales with past sales, identify benchmarks for success, analyse competitor performance.

Profit objectives - predicted level of sales, market share they intend to capture, suggestions for reducing costs.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans that align with the company's overall strategy and objectives.

2. Identify and target potential clients within the Quantitative Analytics and related sector in the United States/India.

3. Utilize Quantile Analytics Pvt. Ltd. in-depth understanding of quantitative analytics, finance, and investment to communicate the value proposition of our services to prospective clients.

4. Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their evolving needs, and proactively offering tailored solutions.

5. Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.

6. Collaborate with the executive team to explore new markets and industry segments for expansion opportunities.

7. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth.

8. Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and networking functions to enhance our visibility and brand recognition.

9. Work closely with internal teams, including the Technology and Research departments, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

10. Provide regular reports and updates to the senior management team on business development progress, achievements, and challenges.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced

degrees and certifications (e.g., MBA, CFA) are highly desirable.

2. Proven track record of at least [10-15 years] in business development within the fields of Quantitative Analytics, Finance, and Investment/Technology

3. Solid understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and quantitative modeling techniques.

4. Strong network of contacts within the alternative investment management industry, particularly in the India & US market.

5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

6. Demonstrated experience in negotiating and closing deals with clients and partners.

7. Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a passion for achieving targets and driving growth.
