Head - Business Development & Marketing - Water Industry (19-26 yrs)

Business Development Manager (Must be from - Water Industry Only )

Educational Qualification: BE (preferably Chemical, Water & Waste Water Treatment OR Environmental Pollution & Control Technology, MBA (Marketing)

The candidate should have experience in generating Effluent treatment, recycling and ZLD business.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

- Lead the BD, marketing & sales team & functions.

- Develop and maintain relationship with senior management of large corporate & PSU clients.

- Access market intelligence, Develop market segmentation, marketing plans and forecasts and provide market inputs to Business Strategy and product development strategy.

- Assess competitive & business environment etc and provide input to overall strategy.

- Strong technical acumen to interact with engineering consultants and client teams to understand/define value proposition.

- Manage & prioritize enquiry/proposal pipeline with clients.

- Strong commercial & contract acumen, negotiation skills to interact with client on commercial terms while order closing

- Collaborative approach & interpersonal skills to interact with proposals, commercial, engineering and Project teams.

- Guide and develop, train and mentor BD, sales and marketing team

- Scouting and forecasting market needs for technology /specialized equipment and technology providers.

- Man management and team leadership for sales & BD function

- Monitor & manage OB forecasting and targets

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

- Sound Technical Knowledge of water, waste water and ZLD offering to various industries like Power, Metals, Chemical, Oil & refining, etc.

- Proven record of large value (>50 cr) contract finalization.

- Networking capability and connect with all leading consultants .

- Sales administration and forecasting

- Marketing communication, public speaking in seminars etc

- Excellent written & spoken communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to lead diverse teams

- Creative, detailed oriented with planning and organization skill
