Group Head/Associate Director - Digital Media Planning & Buying (8-12 yrs)

We have a job opening for Digital Media Planning & Buying for Gurgaon Location.

Overview :

A Group Head/Associate Account Director looks beyond the day-to-day needs of an account to ensure the long-term stability and growth of the relationship and revenue. He/She must serve as the client's strategic marketing partner and must provide leadership in the category of interactive marketing. The incumbent also serves as the internal team leader and drives integration with all the verticals.

Areas of Accountability :

1) Product/Service

- Manage planning & buying requirements for some of the best brands to work on - key clients.

- All aspects of media planning - from strategy to execution needs to managed for online

- Strategy and innovations form a key part of the work

- Creating strategies to increase the effectiveness of the digital campaigns

- Develops media objectives and strategy document based on client brief and proposed media solutions

- Reviews media brief and sets planning process in motion

- Executing the media plans effectively to produce effective results

- Tracking & optimizing campaign performance on a regular basis

- Attends client meetings and conducts plan presentations

- Builds relationships with relevant partners in agency

- Planning for online/digital advertising campaigns for various brands and products

- He/she will be required to plan revenue generation involving new business development from advertisers and Media Agencies and managing an existing portfolio of clients handed over to the defined region.

- Does complete research required for planning process

2) Department Management :

- Leads and manages team

- Attracts and retains best account management talent

- Stewards career management and mentorship

- Ensures strong morale

- Oversees flawless delivery of all projects within individual client clusters

- Escalation point for all team members and final approver

3) Client Leadership

- Be the day-to-day resource for interactive leadership/vision for mid- to senior-level clients

- Develop annual account plan and achieve strategic/financial goals

- Proactive business review meetings to be conducted with all the clients

- Be an engaging and trusted advisor to the client

4) Business Development

- As assigned by Business Head respond to RFPs and/or requests for participation in new business pitches

- Farm existing clients and ensure minimum leakage

- Facilitation and participation in brainstorming meetings, reviewing budgets and schedules, creating overall vision/strategy, ensuring timely delivery of quality final proposal

- Create and monitor co-owned project schedules

- Manage risks and communication for projects assigned to the team

Requirements :

- Capable to lead, present and sell effectively, build rapport among clients and internal constituencies

- Commands respect among clients and internal constituencies

- Enthusiasm for IPG, interactive category and innovation

- Post Graduate / MBA

- Must have 6-8+ years of experience in the digital landscape

- Strong management/marketing experience including team, budget and client relationship

- Excellent writing and presentation skills
