Greenitio - Global Business Development Role - Specialty Chemical (3-5 yrs)

- Greenitio is a Singapore-based climate tech startup that develops functional biopolymer ingredients to substitute intentionally added microplastics and non-renewable polymers in consumer products (cosmetics, personal care, home care, nutraceutical, etc.). We are creating unique biomolecules that aim to exhibit comparable performance and provide similar functionalities to petroleum-derived materials minus pollution.

- We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development professional to help us expand our customer base and develop deep, long-term partnerships and relationships on behalf of Greenitio. You will be at the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

- The key deliverable and goal are to drive sustainable, profitable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities :

- Develop a growth strategy focused on financial goals and customer satisfaction/needs.

- Conduct research and networking to identify new markets and customer needs.

- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.

- Promote the company's products/services, addressing or predicting clients' objectives.

- Prepare and negotiate sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines in each market.

- Keep accurate records of sales, revenue, costs, invoices etc.

- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.

- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

- Develop any future entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.

Requirements and skills :

- Proven 3-5 years of working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role in the specialty chemicals/ ingredients industry, especially in Western Europe. We are looking for someone who has experience selling in a B2B environment to FMCG companies.

- Proven sales track record as proven by references.

- Experience in customer support is a plus.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)

- Proficiency in English. Additional European languages are a plus.

- Market knowledge of the Western Europe FMCG and B2B chemicals industry.

- Communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to build rapport.

- Time management and planning skills.

- BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
